Stickers

References:

This page is related to the custom Platinum Cards you see people using. They work perfectly in machines.
For example, here are mine (I use the Spongebob one):

They obviously arent like the ones you see normally, so how do you go about doing this?

Basic instructions:

  • 1. Get a template for your card.
  • 2. Get a picture you like.
  • 3. Use photoshop to combine them.
  • 4a. Print it out onto NORMAL STICKER PAPER of some sort.
  • 4b. Print it out onto VINYL STICKER PAPER of some sort.
  • 4c. Print it out onto PHOTO STICKER PAPER of some sort.
  • 5. Cut the edges, stick it on.

Thats pretty much it.

If you want better looking Vinyl Cards, then (DJ Sticks' method):

  • 1. Get a template for your card.
  • 2. Get a picture you like.
  • 3. Use photoshop to combine them.
  • 4. Go to http://www.uniqueskins.com/ and get them to print it out. A page can hold 4x5=20 stickers.
  • 5. Cut the edges, stick it on.

OR you can do what I am currently doing (DJ PONYOOOO's method):

  • 1. Get a template for your card.
  • 2. Get a picture you like.
  • 3. Use photoshop to combine them.
  • 4. Print it out onto GLOSSY PHOTO PAPER.
  • 5. Cut the edges, stick it on with STICKY TAPE.

Yes, sticky tape. Mine is currently sticky tape'd on. Thats because I was in a rush to get a custom card and did what I could with what I had.
It works perfectly fine in machines, but its pretty obvious its a fake, plus the glossy photo paper really makes it stand out.

Word of advice, make sure it isnt too thick, and also won't get STUCK in the machine. That will annoy everyone.
